Kaduna State Commission for Education disclosed that ONLY pupils in Senior Secondary School (SSS) 3 class will resume sitting for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the state.
Kaduna State Commissioner for Education Dr Shehu Mohammad Makarfi stated this in an exclusive interview with Freedom Radio Kaduna said that they have selected 300 out of 500 schools that are going to resume for Senior Secondary Three (SS3) pupils.
Dr Makarfi also said that the state government is preparing well by buying materials that would aid the students especially face mast, temperature gadgets and finding specialized Teachers that will guide the students.
He added that about 44,375 are expected to sit for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and that every student would be tested.
The Federal Government on Monday said the examination would begin on August 17 and that schools could reopen on August 4 so pupils could revise for two weeks.
