SMEDAN trains over 104 young entrepreneurs in Bayelsa State.

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has trained over 104 young entrepreneurs in Bayelsa State on the techniques of establishing businesses and development of same.

The two deputy Directors in the agency coordinating the training during the flag off of the training in Yenagoa Ibrahim Abdulmalik and Chibujo Osuoha, said the programme is aimed at guiding young Nigerian entrepreneurs on how to build their businesses and expand them.

They said that the five-day training currently is held in two centres in Yenagoa with 52 youths at each centre. According to them it is aimed at reducing unemployment rate in the country using SMEDAN’s Young Business Entrepreneurs in Nigeria initiative
