Former president of the United States of America, Bill Clinton, others, expected to speak at the signing ceremony of the National Peace Accord.

Former President of the United States of America, Bill Clinton, Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Baroness Patricia Scotland, are expected to speak at the second signing ceremony of the National Peace Accord scheduled to hold in Abuja, on Wednesday.

Clinton is expected to hold separate meetings with President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, before or after the event.

A statement released in Abuja, by head of secretariat, National Peace Committee, Fr. Attah Barkindo, indicated that the event was aimed at committing stakeholders to accept the outcome of the elections as long as they are announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Committee, however, thanked Kofi Annan Foundation for supporting the electoral process prior to 2015, and beyond, in supporting frees and fair elections in Nigeria.
